A major study combining the results of 63 studies, has shown that a large dose of vitamin D each day can halve the chance of developing cancer. Antioxidants May Reduce Risk of Age-Related Macular Degeneration

Today's issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association states that diets that are high in beta carotene, vitamins C and E, and zinc tend to have a substantially reduced risk of age-related macular degeneration in elderly people.
